Not at all. The EXP agents are a different group of agents, but Gold and Platinum merely give one priority to the same agents assisting non-AAdvantage passengers and non-status members. Sometimes, if the EXP lines are very busy, your call may drop to the "regular" agents as well - one can sometimes tell by the hesitation in the agent's answering and giving their full name, which does not happen on the "regular" lines.

The chicken might seem to come a little faster, but it's still Pollo Campero.

I am not quite sure what you mean by that: As an EXP member, I have access to the EXP Line where agents bend over backwards to help, waiting is rare and agents identify themselves as EXP service. Since there are Gold and Platinum lines as well, isn't it more or less the same ?
