I agree that the best beers on this globe are produced in the heart of Europe (and Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republik and Poland are certainly part of this region, too) but I hope that my beer is not fully made from the same ingredients as bread (and v/v).
German beer is protected by the Reinheitsgebot (purity law) of 1516 but I am not aware of any constitutional protection, neither directly not indiretly via a "daily bread" clause.
