I flew in the configuration recently, and I actually rate the last row quite highly - particularly 16J/K (16A/B can have people standing around waiting for the loo, which is on that side). The last row has a reasonable space behind, with a solid bulkhead wall behind that - handy for either putting stuff in flight or just as a place you can stand up for a bit. For bulkhead lovers, the first row is also good of course. Only downside is that the food/drinks service came to us last (after doing one left side first, then right, front to back).
