If UA picked SEA to launch nonstop service to DUB, they could clean up. There are some major high-tech employers here with Irish operations and right now we're all connecting in LHR, AMS, or CPH because nobody's serving this route.
While I do not know enough about the o/d on that route it's a shame UA has not gotten in line for the 787 as one would think the 788 would accommodate these point-to-point routes.
FWIW NW has a fight to AMS too.
