The point I am making is that with service cutbacks and frequent long delays and cancellations of long haul flights, UA is going to alienate a lot of high rev pax, and be left with just a bunch of upgraders.
UA doesn't have the money to buy new aircraft - not now or in the next 1-2 years. Delays and cancellations will not improve until they can find new aircraft (or a merger partner who has the money to fund new ones).
There's nothing ridiculous here. People know you by your posts. Invesigate your own trail if you want.
The speculations and points you have now just made are fine. But when somebody attempts to become a psychic and predicts an airline's demise due to irregular operations, objectivity is thrown into question.
People on these boards know the problems involving UA, and rehashing it at every opportunity will not solve any single one of it here.
It gets tiresome after a while.
