Downtown Milwaukee - Nestle in the heart of downtown close to everything

Both hotels are in large buildings and they use 3 to 4 floors of it.

Thanks
I have to agree with Northern Traveller. The RI Downtown MKE fantastic. I stay there quite a bit. It is in a beautiful historic building that has been updated (It used to be a Gimball's department store). Guest rooms are pretty spacious and many have 12 - 14 ft ceilings, some have river views.

They usually have 4 or 5 different inexpensive wines (2 white, & 2 or 3 red) and two different kinds of beer on tap (Miller & Heineken). The menu varies through the month for the evening reception on Mon - Thur. They also have a hot breakfast every morning. The front desk staff and Hearth Room staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I heard (but have not confirmed) that this property is one of the top 5 RI/Marriott properties in the US!
