I have seen
here that Trip Advisor.com are launching a 'networks' service on their website where reviews from travelers in your network appear above (or are weighted more?) than those of the general population.
And here's where TripAdvisor can't lose when it comes to building community. Why wouldn't you just invite everyone on everyone's list? You're only sharing travel advice and chances are you'll have more in common with someone you tangentially know than a random poster.
Large numbers of members here check tripadvisor (among other review sites) for reviews when heading somewhere. And it would be handy if our trusted (or is that trusty!) FlyerTalk community's opinions floated to the top when we were searching.
That fact, along with the 'flyertalk' login on virtually every news site that require them, had me thinking that perhaps a Flyertalk Trip Advisor 'network' might be a good idea.
Opinions?
