I did my 4 days in Brasov & didn't regret it. Had initially planned to go to Sighisiora (sp?), but ended up changing my plans for complicated reasons. It sounded nice, but the locals were actually not that enouraging about it & on looking at it more closely decided it probably wasn't worth more than a day to me max, & then ended up cancelling completely. What the locals *all* very strongly recommended was indeed Sinaia and in particular the palace there. I didn't end up stopping when I went through either direction (it is on the road & rails between BUH & Brasov), but that is the one regret of the trip, as it was so enthused about by everyone.

Have a good trip - it really is a beautiful area!
