You'll get much response to this question, I'm sure. But, for me, as an FO I got upgraded about 25% of the time, but I mostly do short-haul from ATL.

IMO, the preferred seating and zone 2 boarding are the real benefits. With proper planning, you should always get first three rows in coach or exit row. Plus SMS and the bonus miles are nice, too.
