The Suvarnabhumi Novotel, as a previous poster mentioned is A$250 per night which TG gets little or no discount on, secondly as another poster stated Louis is only used for transit pax unable to legally enter Thailand, Louis charges around A$120 for a 6 hour stay (which is the minimum layover TG will give STPC for anyway).

For most STPC TG use the Novotel Bangna, some 20-25 mins SW of the airport, which at A$130 per night is A$120 cheaper than the Airport Novotel, and most importantly TG get a discount here, so even with the cost of transfers by private limo from and back to the airport, it's still a better deal for them, not such a good deal for the pax who waste 45 mins in travelling time though.
Does one get the STPC for an overnight (forced) on TG's award flights that do not connect?? (booked in C)
