A 2 drink limit is rather silly. If there is going to be a limit then to be fair it should be proportional to ones body weight. Flyers should weigh in and then have a specific rating printed out on thier BP. millileters of ETOH per Lb body weight... why not give out drink tickets... kind of like carbon rationing... on second thought maybe it should be rationed according to ETOH content... how about 60ml of 80 proof per 140lb body weight or 24oz, beer. This way the little people can have less and the big happy eaters can have even more so they can feel it. But..... to be fair then you'd have to account for variants in ones lactate dehydrogenase gene, as that effects the person to person variability in ETOH processing. Why not do a DNA test before you board so that the ETOH limit per PAX can truly be based on the individual PAXs capability to process the ETOH as well as their weight. This way US can insure that everyone has the right to truly achieve the same blood alcohol content. ...Its only fair you know.
