Hahaha, to wharvey, there isn't a dilemma. I was just wondering if you saw Deaf people on a plane before, and if they were treated differently.

Sanosuke, I'm not ashamed of being Deaf. You minunderstood me. Sometimes I wish I was hearing, but nobody is 100 percent happy with themselves. However, I'm fine with myself being Deaf - it's who I am. =)

Also, I know what I said seems conflicting. I do like getting "special treatment" and I like being given special attention, but sometimes it gets old and annoying, and I just want to be treated like my hearing peers. You could suggest I just pretend I'm hearing, but since I'm profoundly Deaf and cannot read lips (too lazy to learn :-P), that's kinda out of the picture.
