IIRC the Skytrain to LAX had a rather lengthy (& un-advertised) stop in BGR, in Maine. Some 345 pax (and the crew, I guess) had to collect their luggage, clear customs & immigration & check in again. When it finally got to LAX, the 'terminal' was more like a partially-covered cattle market. "Squezy" and its ilk are relatively high-spec. by comparison.
