I'll be hanging out in mid-Oct in the "flyover" zone as part of a pseudo-MR.... my opportunity to knock three more states off my yet-to-visit list.

My plan is to arrive to OMA at night on Friday the 12th, and drive up to Sioux Falls to spend the night there. Then the next morning, make my way back down in time for my flight out at 7pm. Looks like I'll be heading down the 29, so if there are any suggestions on things to see/do/eat along the way, I would appreciate it!

Wouldn't mind meeting FTers along the way either.

(Oy... is it a bad sign that, on the siouxcitytourism.com site, I just downloaded the 2005 Visitors' Guide?)

Any why is SD in the West forum? It's more Midwest than West, though it's neither.
