First off, BS on the f/a's story. They cater alcohol (beer and wine) on every eagle flight. My guess is, she didn't want to sell anything and do the liquor report. Sometimes, catering will run out of the beer/wine, but rarely is it ever not on the plane.

Second, one pass through the cabin without the can and then sitting down with her people magazine is not unique to the RJ's, it's pretty much everywhere
