If it is just 600 miles then I think so but that's for you to call.

If flying SIN-KUL then SQ F is the way to go as you can access the SKL F lounge at Changi and drink the value of the ticket in Dom, if you so wish.

For KUL-SIN MH F is the way to go as SQ's lounge at KUL is crap whereas the MH F lounge is excellent.

Both of them just sell as Y and F even though it's just the J product. It's a stitch up to be honest as the flights are expensive but MH have just blocked a new bilateral opening the route up to competition. Not every flight is in regional J on SQ, you sometimes get a SpaceBed equipped 772ER. I did on my last SIN-KUL run. Although having the Prime Minister onboard may have assisted somewhat.

The actual flight time is only about 30 minutes, unless you come into Changi from the South instead of the North which adds up to 10 minutes.
