If you have not been there, and you plan to enjoy a day there (check-in early and take the late evening flight out)..
You can maybe credit the MH miles to some of their partner programs.. FB, NW, Virgin's, and some others.. (do check the T&C of these programs on MH crediting eligibility)
Take care that if you intend to do this roundtrip, you would need to get the tickets as one-way, as it is not possible (yes, even with F class) to change from one to the other carrier without paying some surcharge. I have been stung by this
