Certainly you will hear more about boycotts in the near future but what does a "third world country" like Russia care when it is financed by oil and illegal weapon sales to very rebels they fighting against.
This seems hardly helpful and completely OT.
The country is indeed corrupt but the majority of the world has gone through that stage at one point or another. Would you advice against traveling to Mexico?
Back to OP: considering the fact that Sokolniki is listed as a separate zone I assume that PL Moscow hotels are centrally located. Also business hotels are usually located close to metro stations and I feel comfortable with what PL likely considers 3* level in Moscow.
