As a loyal AA (nonbusiness nonMR platinum) traveler - it was bad enough when ORD/PVD became RJ only (while UA still offers A320/737). I can live with the RJ (alright the seats suck but I'm relatively slight stature so even the non exit row/bulkheads are reasonable for me. Sunday though, I asked for my usual evening cocktails on the way home. "I'm sorry, they don't cater alcohol for this flight". Why? "Usually they just don't." Why? "Look, if you don't want something to drink, I need to move along." Then, one pass through, drink without can, and flight attendant packs up and reads her People Mag.....and they wonder why people aren't happy and they lose business. Just needed to vent - as always - b/c its for the miles I'll keep on the RJs although I wish TSA would let me bring liquid through.....
