Any logic/reason why some seats are "Premium"?
One of the nice things about Expert Flyer is that it shows the "premium" seats on AA aircraft - coach seats reserved for elite AAdvantage members. My questions is this: is there really anything better about these seats, and why are some of them reserved as "premium" at all? Take the 767-300 as an example:
Exit rows 20 and 21 are premium only, yet "Seatguru" shows some of these seats as "bad seats". i.e. the seats reserved as premium are actually worse than average!
Then in rows 22 and 23, seats C and G, and B and H are premium - anything special about these, I certainly can't think of anything {they do have power. but so do other rows which are non-premium.}
By contrast, in row 12, all seats are 'premium"....
I simply don't get it... any of you know the how/why of this?
