One other thing I thought of (mostly because I have a UTI right now) - I was even more prone to UTIs when I was pregnant. I typically get too many UTIs when I travel to China because I try not to go to the bathroom much (not knowing the bathroom conditions) - I've gotten over it for the most part, but because I sometimes have long car trips as well, with no bathroom stops, I'm bad about drinking enough liquid. PLEASE don't do this. Drink as much liquid as possible and if you'll be in a part of China where the restaurants only have squatty potty's, work on your balance before leaving - being 24 weeks pregnant will make it a little more challenging

If you are prone to UTIs, I would ask your OB for medicine to take with you JUST IN CASE. Also, ensure you take medicines with you that you can take now (i.e. Tylenol) in case you do get sick, you'll have your own medicines with you and won't have to worry if it's safe for your baby. I also take my own bandaids and one of the quick ice packs (I've been doing this for a while and I'm happy when I don't have use ANY of it, but take it just in case).

One other little tip (yep, I'm paranoid) - I turn the tea kettle on so that I have boiling water and pour that all over the glasses in the hotel room so that I feel like I have cleaner glasses - I even do this in 5 star hotels in China (I don't do this in Hong Kong, it's China only that I get extra paranoid).

Back to Clothes, I saw some cute dresses at Anthropologie that would easily work for maternity (I wore Anthropologie clothes throughout my entire pregnancy -there were some fun pieces that just worked really well and I didn't feel so maternity though Lily Pulitzer makes cute maternity clothes!).

Do you swim or do water workouts? The pools at most of the hotels are usually perfect (and appear clean) and a nice break from the stress of the work over there. If you get a chance, enjoy the pool - it's low stress for you and your baby and is the one thing that works so well to take some time for yourself (I can't recommend doing foot massage because I know pregnant women are supposed to not have their feet massaged after a certain point - I don't think you're there yet, but I'd go on the safe side and skip it - do it on your next trip though!)
