I disagree. The reason for chocolates is that FAs cannot accept gratuities. Tipping isn't something you have to do ... it's something you should want to do! It's about getting great service when good is expected. Normally, I'd slip a FA a buck or two, but since you can't, candy is a good way to go.

My Blue Heaven: "I tip everybody. It's not tipping I believe in, its over-tipping."
