So explain to me then how I flew to CDG with BA to position in Sept 1985 on a 757. It was meant to have been a Tristar but that went tech and we were all put on to 2 757s. I think that makes it 21 years and 4 months.
Oh dear, you sound a little annoyed. I wasn't having a go, I re-read my post and it does sound rather sharp, which was not intentional at all, so please accept my apologies if I came over that way!
As has been explained, BA sold off the oldest 757's for freighter conversion. The current 757 fleet (I think there are 13 now) are younger than that.
