As mentioned originally, a kind fellow passenger witnessing the situation - who, like Off-Duty Employee, was traveling alone - offered to exchange seats with her. After the first incident where she learned there was really no space between her seatback and my knees, I frankly didn't expect a "Round Two." While I appreciate the interest, please allow me to reiterate that the focus of my posting was not about rights or resolution, although they were incidental to the story. Rather, 1.) It is not physically possible for the knees of someone 6'7" and a seatback to occupy the same space in first class on a US Airways Airbus 319; and 2.) Customer service of US Airways employees in this circumstance (on and off duty) was not in evidence.
