It´s not for myself, more for a for a friend who´s a student and works in aviation. Somewhere safe is important since I would like to know shes in a nice neighbourhood.

I never lived in NY or around so I have absolutely no clue. A bit explanation would be great, my living knowledge is limited to the westcoast

What is an average rent for a 2 or 3 people shared apartment??
