Hello everyone, I made a booking class mistake when purchasing a ticket, and now I'm trying to find a solution... So here's my request for advice!

I'm an AZ MilleMiglia Ulisse (Elite) frequent flyer. I purchased and flew a UIO-AMS-FCO-BDS-FCO-AMS-UIO a few months ago. I made the very stupid mistake of not checking the booking class for individual segments before buying (I bought on Expedia.com, where booking class doesn't normally show) and two of the longest segments (UIO-AMS and AMS-FCO) were booked in KLM class V, which doesn't qualify to earn miles on AZ MilleMiglia (within the MilleMiglia programme KLM is the only ST member that doesn't qualify for miles earning in V booking class - no idea why).

As I hate the thought of losing all those miles, could you recommend any way I could try to persuade AZ to give them to me?! It may sound like a crazy request, but I am currently living in South America, where it's really hard to keep Elite status in ST, not to mention aspire to Elite Plus (hopefully this will change when Copa joins).
