Sometimes you can make a multiple segment itinerary whereby you select the layovers as stops. This can result in a through priced itinerary and calculated like this example:
YMM-YEG-YYC-YVR on October 17.
Tango price for one way fare: 212.
With the multiple destinations option it will show up like this:
Flight 1: 212 -3 -5
Flight 2: 0 -3 -5
Flight 3: 0 -3 -5
Add the no aeroplan discount for another 9 dollars. (750 foregone miles).
Maximum discount is 29 dollars. Nice IMO.
