I was on a flight from ORD-SIN on UA arriving in Singapore at 11:55pm. My connecting flight was on Silkair at 8:15pm next day. UA refused to check bags all the way, claiming they can only do it if connections are within 4hrs. Another agent said they will do it upto 8:00am but not 8:15pm. Were they correct ?.
