You're 12000 points short of Gold based on your points earn, and I assume quite a few nights short based on your nights tally. Any reason you're not Silver at the moment? (You could always sign up for the HHonors Racing card - Free - and be bumped up to Silver if that's the case).

I was going to suggest you do a mattress run in SYD before heading over, but I doubt you'd want to spend $1200USD on rooms just to get Gold. There are some "Gold" promos you could try - like the Chairman's Card one that might get you to Gold for long enough until you are Gold properly (but the use of those types of codes are ethically questionable).

You could blag to the GM that you'll be Gold during the stay, and would it be possible to extend the perks to you during the stay or check-out/checkin the stay after X nights so that you reach Gold. You'll miss out on quite a few bonus points by not being Gold when this massive stay posts.
