Moderator- it might make sense to bump this over to either the Emirates forum (there seem to be UL posts there from time to time given the common ownership or the two airlines) or the other Asia airlines forum.

UrbaneGent- to avoid the 320 on the overpriced CMB-DEL route you can buy a ticket from a travel agent (the same price) that routes through Chennai on the 340 and then picks up a Kingfisher flight (which has nice recliners up front). This requires a 3 hours stopover in both directions, but for the DEL-CMB leg you can fly during the day and avoid the heinously short redeye that UL does on this route. It's still overpriced, but at least you avoid the 320 and the terrible timing of the DEL-CMB UL flight.
