I saw them lined up in NRT ~3 mths ago to inspect, but I skipped it.

Havn't had it any other time except for late 2006 when the full liquid ban was in place and I was searched in SYD before flying to HNL. Coming back home, I was asked by "some random dude who flashed his badge in my face" if I had any liquids. I said no and I boarded without any dramas.
