I think I have been on a B757 with seats starting at 2AC ( I think there is only a few aircraft in the fleet so equipped and Smiroffs's comments make sense.

Absolutely, there is at least one very very old looking 757 that does actually start with 2AC. It's true at T-75 though it seems to always show this aircraft but very rarely is it that one. If you manage to select 2AC you'll get stung when the aircraft changes back and you end up in 5E as has happened to me!
One good way now to find out which aircraft will actually be used is to look on EF where the 2AC one is shown as a 752.
