I've bought two Elite Y Upgrade fares since seeing this post and can't find a way to do this online. I wind up calling and getting the changes.
Can anyone explain exactly where this is an option and how to do it? I'm using Firefox if that makes a difference.

Under the flight number you'll see a box that says something like "elite upgrade"...check the box and it'll process the upgrade for you...very easy
