An expansion to Fresno would be met with much enthusiasm I promise you. Service to San Diego, Oakland and/or Sacramento would do the trick. Fresno County has a population of approximately 1 million, and the only way to fly out of here is to pay through the nose, or drive to the Bay Area or LA (which is what the majority of people do). $49 fares, when they are put on sale, between Fresno and Oakland or San Diego would be snapped up in a heartbeat. And with regular service to Sacramento (which does not currently exist), it seems like a no-brainer.
Now if only the Fresno City Council can get their collective heads out of their posteriors and get WN in for discussions, then we would be getting somewhere!
