The lady said I couldn't give another payment method over the phone and someone would contact me from a different dept to collect the fee.
No one has called. BAEC in the UK advise that I can pay at the airport if no one contacts me.
My question is - if no one contacts me and I OLCI will I ever pay this fee? Have I just saved some money?
Maybe, maybe not. Sometimes we get a pop up at check in telling us to send the customer to the Ticket Desk so the funds can be collected. Presumably there would be something stopping you going through the OLCI procedure if this is the case. Only time will tell.
