Can top all of those.

I left my wallet on the back seat of a cab that dropped me off at JFK. Only realised when I tried to check in and no Exec Club Card my world started to unravel.

The BA people were fantastic - called central cab control, gave them the cab number (I had the receipt) and, 20 minutes later, I was reunited with my totally intact wallet. Needless to say the cab driver got a mega-tip !
