Official Cigarman/Continental event dates set

The Cigarman/Continental Event III will take place in Houston on Friday night September 28th and Saturday the 29th. The schedule will be similar to the past two years with a few notable changes. I felt the First event was more "flyertalkish" and more informal with the second event. However, we sufferred from some logistically issues on getting the tours done on time, for example. The second event, I felt all the logistics were great, as continental handled them. But, I thought we lost a little bit of the informality. Especially in the Q &A in the hanger. It was such a huge facility, that once the Q&A was over we really didn't mingle well, as the space was so large. So I meet with the CO INSIDER and we worked on trying to take the best from the first event, the informality and mingling and meld it to the good part from the second event, the organization and transportation. Hopefully we can take all we have learned and make the third one really, really special.
I am excited about two possible changes. One my idea... one the Insiders Idea. My idea was after the tours to have panel Q&A discussions on various issues/areas of CO running concurrently. People would choose area that interest them. After say 45 minutes we would have a 15 minute break, then re run the sessions so that people could aatend two. We have some really good ideas what to feature in them. If this works out, key Continental people would host each one. Think of the Larry Q&A but more specific to certain areas. That way we all can find out information in areas of importance to us, and free up Larry for the "big time" questions, verses the mundain questions, that eat up time and we might not care about. We love you Brian... however, most of us, don't really have live chicken hauling concerns...
The Insider has come up with a KILLER tour idea to add to the three from last year. I hope he can pull it off! Suffice it to say... WOW!
