I am trying to book an award ticket for a CVG-MNL roundtrip for Jun 30-Jul 8. I know I am a little late in the game but I was just hoping for someone to help me with some advise.

I have more or less 100,000 in miles in my acct and when I did a search on nwa.com and also tried to phone in, all awards were at 120,000 from the usual 60-90k.

My question would be is there any possibility that the miles needed will go down in the next few days?

Also, is it possible to do this as a last resort, transfer 15,000 miles from a friend and buy 5,000 miles from nwa? Does the 15,000 mile annual limit count to both transfers and buys?
