This may not be RN's fault, but it's their responsibility to fix.
The OP should simply state that the amount posted by RN is not the correct amount spent, and send in the receipt showing the correct amount.
It may have been a mistake to discuss the 5000 point bonus before getting them to fix the amount first. Try to get them to work on the correction.
