Any thoughts on this or other nearby hotels? I notice that the a few luxury hotels are on E Chicago, but that's just a bit too far away to walk in the summer heat wearing a suit.
The Renaissance was more than comfortable and adequate on my last stay, 18 months go, and just ablock to the East, between the R and the big Hyatt is a commercial hotel, little lobby, not much extras, called the 71 which I liked when I stayed there about 8 months ago. Either would work. I'm not a fan of the Hard Rock, and it's on the North side of the river...
