Kagehitokiri, price is not really the issue here. I think MO is really lovely, but some friends mentioned that the resort is quite Disneyland like -- different buildings with different styles and incredibly manicured grounds to the point that it's almost 'plastic' looking.

I typically like contemporary design, hence my curiosity to THE CHEDI. The guestroom pictures on the website look quite appealing.

I understand I am not comparing apple to apple. At this point I am still leaning towards MO (booked a Villa), but was wondering if I should consider making a switch.
