I stayed a couple of weeks ago, booked Inner court, but Royal Park exc room showed on my reservation (changed by the hotel) when I arrived I was told I had been given a one bedroom suite, this was an inner court one and I stuck out for a view so ended up with a one bedroom park view suite (nice) but no lounge access as it was not open. I have booked the same inner court option for my stay in a week or so and I have my fingers crossed. However it may be that the London IC is my regular hotel. The other thing to note is the one bedroom suites are quite small so there is not a huge advantage other than larger bathroom

Indeed. The balcony was nice though - my room was facing the Four Seasons across the road and had a fabulous view of The Houses of Parliament in the distance.
As you say they are not that big not being as 'deep' as say the Exec Rooms and tend to be more box shaped.
Fabulous toiletries in the bathroom.
I am staying here again this weekend and it will be interesting to see what I am given.
