SK AAR I do not believe it will be possible for you to make that connection if you have to clear Immigration, wait for checked bags, walk through Customs, head up to level 4 check in with LX, clear Immigration, walk to the gate and clear security.

Given my experience, it actually might be possible, but would be very stressful. I would think that it should be possible to check bags all the way through though, even if those two airlines don't love each other.

I'm pretty sure they aren't doing liquid/gel checks for domestic flights, since they didn't do them for my recent flights from BKK to and from HAN and PNH.
