The lounge at ANU is really quite quaint - in a colonial sort of way. It is small, but there are worn old leather sofas, copies of newspapers & magazines, board games and drinks & snacks served by waiter.
It is easy to go out on the terrace to watch your plane arrive, then go through security just in time. Spend as little time as possible airside, as it's a mess - though there is an area that is air-conditioned.
Drinks - Well you can order a drink (may be two)
Sbacks - A small plate of open crackers and a couple of bits of cheese.
The air conditoned section in the departure lounge also has free wi-fi.
