No. Ch. 9 is not the place for passengers to learn about what's potentially going wrong with the aircraft.

There are some people who can listen and make sense of the situation, but if Ma or Pa Kettle hear something and then scream, "OMG our flaps don't work we're all gonna die!!!!" -- that's no bueno.
