Hi. I never used Alitalia, but they should be more or less the same.
Regarding Iberia's product, take into account the following:
1. Business class (the domestic one) passengers fly a cabin that is the same one you get in tourist (only a very little extra legroom). However, the central seat is not occupied.
2. Iberia is implementing its new cabin, which is great and very comfortable, equiped with RECARO seats. The old one was in
blue, the new one is in
grey.
3. Both in the TLV-MAD and MAD - DKR flights, food is free for all pax. However, business class pax get a great improvement. Furthermore, in the DKR - MAD you get two meals (dinner and breakfast) Check this report to see a bit what to expect.

4. MAD airport is easy to navigate through, and you'll be glad to use the VIP lounges.
5. Dakar was served some months ago by the Audeli's B757 (with non real Iberia crews), but this finally changed and the A321 comes back! ^
