Basically it seems like this hotel doesn't do RA upgrades at all (ie, the RA upgrade is the exact same as the Ambassador upgrade with the exception of the Ambassador who reserves an Inner Court room and would probably only be entitled to a Mayfair upgrade, is this correct?).

So here's my situation (I'm RA by the way). The following rooms are available:

Inner Court Room = 148 GBP
Mayfair room = 164 GBP
Royal Park Exec = 180 GBP
One-Bedroom Suite = 456 GBP

It looks like when I'll be there the Studio Suites still won't be finished. So my question is would I basically be wasting my money by booking at Royal Park Exec? Shouldn't I just book a Inner Court Room and save 32 GBP and still end up in the Royal Park Exec? Or should I wing it, shell out an extra 32 GBP and hope for some type of upgrade? Any experience from FTers with any upgrade above a Royal Park Exec room would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
