There is some mis-information in this thread that I'd like to clear up:

1) A bump voucher issued in August of 2006 will not be available for use on-line. This is the old type of voucher that is not electronic.

2) Sometime after Feb 19, 2007 and before March 24, 2007 the vouchers converted to electronic (my 2/19 is the old version and my 3/24 is the new version)

3) Yes, the new electronic versions can be used on-line and used for any other passenger

4) In this case, the original owner of the DBC voucher will need to call Delta and create a reservation (for anyone) telling the agent he/she will be using the voucher. The original owner will need to go to the airport and "turn in" the voucher to pay for the reservation (within 24 hours of making the reservation).
