I have a "too good to be true' rental car rate for 15 days in Mexico. I am covered for CDW insurance but cannot find anything for liability other than the rental car's plan at $15 a day.... making the liability insurance as expensive as the rental itself....

Credit cards only cover damage and theft to the rental car.... no one seems to offer liability. In Mexico that is a must since you are at fault until proven otherwise in an accident....

any thoughts?
