Called again later and was told reward reservations would not be honored. Told I could have Docklands, not what I wanted after a year of planning our trip. I finally got ahold of someone who managed to get an award reservation for 2 adults/1 child at the Park Lane. I was told to call back tomorrow when the revenue managers at the London hotels would be in and they would know more about what they are going to do with all the folks who need to be relocated. I am relieved that at least I can get the Park Lane (although likely a tiny room for the 3 of us) but it is very disappointing to lose your reservation (only finding out by accident by reading Flyertalk) after a full year and just be told "sorry".
If anyone else is out there (I know Jamieto Cartero is) in the same predicament please let me know what hhonors is doing to relocate you.

Please note that any stay retained at the hotel on or after 1 June 2007 will not earn any Hilton HHonors points/airline miles. Neither will any HHonors benefits be possible at the hotel during such a stay. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
When you arrive at the hotel, you will be charged for any extras that you may have, exactly as you would have been if the hotel had still been a Hilton.
Should you however wish to cancel or move to an alternative Hilton property in London, please do not hesitate to contact us and we are happy to assist.
